Elizabeth A. Garcia

Elizabeth A. Garcia’s award-winning Deputy Ricos Tales Series consists of seven novels. One Bloody Shirt at a Time, Darker Than Black, Border Ghosts, and The Trail of a Rattler, are award winners. Her Bullet Book, The Neon Palm debuted Fall 2019. 

In 2013-2014, Beth wrote a weekly column in The Alpine Avalanche. Two of those columns were chosen to be in an anthology of West Texas stories and essays, currently in publication. The Big Bend Gazette published 28 of Beth’s stories between 2006 and 2011.Thirteen of her short essays were published by The Alpine Daily Planet, and two additional short stories placed number one in their categories and are now published in Short Stories by Texas Authors, Vol.2, 2016.
